One of Greece’s oldest breads, these seed-encurusted hoops offer a delicious bite and a satisfying sesame flavour. ‘Kolouri’ is a famous product of Greece’s second city, Thessaloniki, but they have a long history dating back to the Byzantine empire. Ring-shaped breads aren’t unusual in the East Mediterranean, but these offer a wonderful addition to a sunny breakfast or served alongside Greek stews and salads.
